Nightingale Quarter enjoys record sales after show home launch

Ashley Adams estate agents in Derby has reported record sales at the prestigious Nightingale Quarter development by Wavensmere Homes. The new homes site sold more than 60 properties in May in its most successful month for sales since its launch in August 2020.

This follows the opening of a new three bedroom show home, ‘The Lloyd’, last month and builds on the site’s previous sales success from its unique virtual viewing experience during the height of the pandemic last year.

Hannah Kelham, Head of Ashley Adams New Homes East Midlands, comments:

“Once again, sales at the Nightingale Quarter have been exceptional, which is testament to the quality of the homes, the community benefits on-site and, of course, the opportunity for buyers near and far to really get a feel for the site, through both virtual marketing and the new show home. With interest continuing to build, we expect sales to continue at pace and we’d advise anyone interested in a property at Nightingale Quarter to get in touch soon to avoid missing out on one of Derby’s most sought-after new developments.”

The developer, Wavensmere Homes, has also recently unveiled one of the newly restored and well-known Pepper Pot buildings, which will serve as a marketing suite initially, before being turned into a gym. Plans for the second Pepper Pot building include a café and an exhibition area.

“We are truly delighted with our recent success at Nightingale Quarter which, we believe, is due largely to the opening of the show home and the first converted Pepper Pot building. There is so much history to soak up in and around Derby, and it’s a pleasure to be able to preserve these iconic buildings and ensure residents can continue to use and appreciate them for years to come,” adds Wavensmere Homes’ Sales Director Donna Smith.

Nightingale Quarter is located moments from Derby’s thriving city centre – a city with the UK’s second fastest-growing economy – with good transport links to both Birmingham and London. It is also less than 30 minutes’ drive to the breathtaking Peak District National Park.

The development will, when completed, consist of 800 homes, with prices starting from £150,000 for an apartment and £193,000 for a two bedroom house.
