Burchell Edwards new Lettings department kicked off the new year with an urgent cry for help. Stan Ternent, Derby County's Assistant Manager was anxious to find a property to let whilst he settles down in Derby. Burchell Edwards was his first choice Agent. Stan commented "It is not easy moving to a new City when you are unfamiliar with the surroundings and location, thankfully, the Burchell Edwards Lettings Team were very friendly and professional from the outset!" Emma Marshall, the Lettings Co-ordinator at the Derby branch quickly stepped into action and recommended a beautifully decorated, fully furnished home in Sudbury which would be perfect for his busy lifestyle. They arranged a viewing with local business Director and Landlady, Carroll Williams, and as they say - the ball hit the back of the net! Stan was delighted with the property and wanted to move in as soon as possible!

As in our great sport, this was a game of two halves; Jenny Owen, the Manager of the Property Maintenance Team now had the task of carrying out the necessary checks and drafting the legal paperwork on behalf of the Landlady. It needed to be turned around quickly as Stan wanted to move in within 7 days! Needless to say, with the Burchell Edwards superior service, all went to plan and Stan is now relaxing comfortably in his new surroundings. Stan commented that "a big thank you should go to Burchell Edwards Lettings for meeting all of my needs and requirements. I am delighted".

As you would expect, Mrs Williams was ecstatic and comments "When our house became available we were dreading having to find another tenant. How wrong we were! It was a refreshing delight to deal with Lucie Ellis, the Valuations Manager and the rest of the Burchell Edwards Lettings Team. Nothing was too much trouble. They made the process so simple from start to finish. I didn't have to have time off from work to sort out the details they simply visited the property and took the problem away from me!

We really appreciated the regular communication. It was a comfort to know they hadn't forgotten about us. When they told me that Stan was keen to move in ASAP they were tremendously professional in processing the paperwork and offering advice on any issues.

We will certainly be back to Burchell Edwards when we need to re let any of our other properties!
