ARDEN SCHOOL CELEBRATES PUPILS' SUCCESSES Arden School enjoyed the most prestigious event in their calendar on the 14th November. Their annual Presentation Evening celebrates the success of pupils in the Upper school.

An audience of over 400 parents and friends saw GCSE certificates and a host of special prizes being presented by Mark Rogers, Acting Chief Executive, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council. The event was sponsored by Burchell Edwards Estate Agents. The Marketing Director of Burchell Edwards, Dawn Oakley, who attended the event said:

"We are proud to be part of local community events and what could be more fitting than to help young people get recognition for outstanding achievement."

2006-07 was an outstanding year of achievement for the School with 100% of all 238 GCSE students achieving the national measure of 5 A*- C grades.

Ann Green, Headteacher, commented "The outstanding success which these pupils achieved was a reflection of the dedication of the teachers, the aspirations of the pupils and the support of parents. All are to be congratulated. We also thank Burchell Edwards for their wholehearted support."
