Dorridge Nursery and Infant School enjoyed their annual Fun Day on Saturday 14th June.
The festivities began with a dancing display by Blue House and the release of balloons for the balloon race. There was a whole collection of stalls to excite visitors, some traditional, some new and exciting. The sponge throwing as always was very popular, along with nail decorating and face painting. This year also saw the return of the Father's Day stall where children were invited to make a gift for their dad, but of course not forgetting the BBQ, drinks tent and tea stall to help you get through the afternoon.
Simon Laugharne, Chair DNISPG, commented "The Fun Day is an important part of our fundraising activities and I would like to thank everyone who has given their time and money throughout the year to support our efforts. Thank you particularly to the Fun Day committee for their unbounded energy and hard work, the teachers, the many parents and to the businesses that have generously supported us. Last but certainly not least, a big thank you to Burchell Edwards for their wholehearted support."
The Marketing Director of Burchell Edwards, Dawn Oakley, who attended the event said: "We are proud to be part of local community events and have a rolling programme of investment in schools and local projects. We have worked very closely with Dorridge Nursery and Infant School for a number of years now and will continue to build on our relationship."
