To reward their staff Burchell Edwards Directors took their high flyers off for a four day trip to the big apple to celebrate the records their staff have achieved over the previous months. Kenny Bruce Sales Director said " It's only right that we reward our staff for their efforts and where better than New York ".

The trip was enjoyed by 18 staff members and was backed up with the help of the directors, Andy Holdsworth, Kenny Bruce, Michael Bruce and John Brooks. Andy took the role of team leader and made sure that everyone had the time of their lives and helped organize a host of fun activities and events.

The trip was started in style with a stretched limo collecting the winners from the airport upon landing and taking them to a five star hotel within walking distance of the famous Times Square.

Throughout the stay the winners were wined and dined in some of New York's finest eateries and enjoyed many a late night enjoying a bottle of champagne with music and laughter never far behind.

No trip would be complete without a visit to one of the world's most famous land marks - The Statue of Liberty and boy was this a great day. To walk around the island and stand in awe of this colossus statue was something I'm sure will live with everyone for a long time, but in true Burchell Edwards's style just to walk round was not enough. Andy and Michael had a little surprise for the group as we all headed down to a small bay in New York to be greeted by helicopters not one not two but three ready to take off and show us all the sites New York has to offer. A truly unforgettable flight that really was both enjoyable but slightly scary for the feint hearted.

Along with shopping trips and further sight seeing at the site of the tragic 9/11 and the Empire State Building, Andy organised one big final evening out to cap a wonderful four days, the final evening was one to always remember. A meal followed by a live show of the highly acclaimed Mama Mia was the groups final evening and a truly fitting finale to a once in a life time trip.
